Kay Moormann named executive dean of continuing and professional education at McHenry County College in Illinois

McHenry County College continuing education dean Kay Moormann
Kay Moormann has been selected as the new executive dean of continuing and professional education for McHenry County College.
Moormann began her role June 11, succeeding Gwen Koehler, who retired in May. In her role at MCC, Moormann oversees eontinuing and professional education, adult education and the Shah Center for Corporate Training and Workforce Development.
A Wisconsin native, Moormann has more than 15 years of experience in workforce education at the community college level. Her background includes roles as an instructor and in leadership where she collaborated with community organizations, academic institutions and industry on workforce initiatives.
"I am very pleased to be at MCC and a part of the fine work that is being done in the continuing and professional education division," Moormann said in a press release. "I look forward to the opportunity to continue to reach out to the community, business and industry and our workforce partners to build on existing relationships and support workforce training and education needs."
