Baltimore City Community College has named a former Morgan State University and Baltimore City Community College professor interim president.
Carolyn Hull Anderson, a former associate professor and graduate of Morgan, will take over for Carolane Williams, who the board of trustees let go Dec. 11.
Anderson is a former full-time faculty member at Baltimore City Community College, where she worked for about 30 years. The positions she held at BCCC include assistant to the associate dean of arts and science and director of the academic development program.
She also served as chair of English, speech, foreign languages, art and music.
She has also worked as executive vice president and acting president at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and as dean of academic services at Broome Community College in Binghamton, N.Y.
