The Heartland Community College Board of Trustees recently appointed Doug Minter as the College’s new Vice President of Business Services. Minter previously served HCC as Chief Information Officer; his new role was effective June 1.
As Vice President of Business Services, Minter will provide leadership and support for the planning and operations of the College's fiscal, human resources, administrative services, information technology, and facilities units.

Before joining Heartland, Minter worked as an instructor and then as Vice President at the American College of Technology, formerly located in Bloomington. As director, Minter immediately lead the organizational integration of academic and administrative computing and since has managed several initiatives that included significant upgrades to the Challenger Learning Center, implementing state-of-the-art “smart classrooms” and integrating a robust technology infrastructure for the campus.
