Scheherazade Forman and Malverse A. Nicholson named new deans at Prince George’s Community College

Prince George’s Community College announces Mr. Malverse A. Nicholson, Jr. and Dr. Scheherazade Forman as its newest deans of College Life Services and Student Development Services, respectively.
Malverse A. Nicholson, Jr., has been named dean of College Life Services. Nicholson has over 13 years experience in student services serving in various capacities at both Virginia State and Norfolk State Universities. Prior to joining Prince George’s Community College, Nicholson was director of student activities and judicial affairs at Virginia State University. Mr. Nicholson is completing his doctoral studies in organizational leadership at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He received his undergraduate and masters degrees at Hampton University and Norfolk State University, both in Virginia.
Dr. Scheherazade Forman is the newest dean of Student Development Services. Dr. Forman began her career in student services more than 18 years ago spending many years at community colleges. Most recently she served at coordinator of articulation and transfer at Baltimore City Community College. Dr. Forman received her bachelor of sciences and masters of science degrees from University of Maryland University College and she completed her doctoral studies at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
