Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts names three finalists in its presidential search

The presidential search committee at Cape Cod Community College has narrowed its field of candidates from seven semifinalists to three finalists after the latest round of interviews.

According to Ralph Cahoon, search committee chairman and vice president of the college’s board of trustees, since mid-October. the 15-person search committee has whittled a pool of 74 candidates down to three finalists.

“[We] decided these three had the characteristics we were looking for in our next president,” Cahoon said.
The finalists are Dr. John Cox, Dr. Peter Grant Jordan, and Dr. Peter Katopes. Both Jordan and Katopes hail from La Guardia Community College in New York, while Cox works at Harford Community College in Maryland.
