Montana tribal colleges to share $6.3 million in HUD funding to improve health and job training programs

Three Montana tribal colleges are among eight nationwide to receive part of $6.3 million in funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, according to a news release from the HUD public affairs office.

Stone Child College, Fort Peck Community College and Salish Kootenai College will get $800,000 each to expand their ability to provide health programs, job training and economic-development activities by building new facilities, or renovating or equipping current facilities.
