Assist Project Managers in management of remodel and maintenance projects and also manage multiple small projects at one time. Duties include documenting, filing project documents, managing project budgets and contractors/vendors. Communicating with project team, students, SLCC personnel to minimize disruptions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Assist Project Managers in completing projects in a professional and timely manner. Manage own small projects from start to completion. Utilize Microsoft office and spreadsheets in tracking project budgets. Review, understand, and follow project drawings and specifications and ensure complete and proper completion of projects. Provide through and informative communication to stakeholders. Attention to detail and able to work in a fast pace environment.
Working knowledge of SLCC buildings and grounds, familiar with the computerized work order management system currently used (Sprocket).
High School Diploma, Zero to Two years’ experience with construction or maintenance projects, valid Utah Driver’s License to operate facilities vehicle to travel to various campuses, Computer literate.

• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
• Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
• Ability to take direction from supervisor with a positive attitude.
• Basic Knowledge of construction and building components.
