Knowledge of state and national issues pertaining to the roles of the library in higher education

In-depth knowledge of current computer and instructional technology
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty & staff and other stakeholders important to the college
Ensures that the library provides resources and services to support the educational programs of the college
Works with college faculty to develop and offer bibliographic instruction programs that produce information-literate students
Managing the library and supervising staff
Preparing an annual plan with budget recommendations
Identifying improvements needed in the library facility and equipment needs
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with students, faculty & staff and other stakeholders important to the college
Other duties as assigned
A 12-month position. Available July 1, 2019. Rank and salary dependent on academic preparation, qualifications and experience. Reappointment based on performance evaluations and institutional needs.
