Title of Position: Business Management Faculty Member - Full Time
Bargaining Unit / Salary Range: MEA Faculty Unit; $48,846.97 - $58,325.83 Dependent upon Qualifications & Experience.
Responsibilities: EMCC is looking to fill a full-time Business Management Program faculty member to teach 15 credits of undergraduate coursework to begin August 21, 2023. The individual in this position will teach a combination of day, evening, and online classes. The person in this position will also be expected to provide effective instruction, advise students, develop curriculum, and participate in campus committees as needed. Will spend much of their time instructing Accounting I, Accounting II, and Small Business Management classes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters or MBA degree with a concentration in Management/Accounting and Finance.
- Demonstrated teaching ability. Willingness and ability to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practice.
- Desire and ability to motivate students.
- 3 or more years of experience in the private/business sector
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Experience teaching courses at the two-year college level.
- Experience teaching on-campus along with an online environment. Experience with Brightspace or other learning management systems.
- Demonstrated industry experience applying theory to practice also.
- Experience with program development.
