- Masters degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
- College-level teaching experience.
- Competence in technology and innovative course delivery strategies.
- Skills to serve as an academic advisor and mentor for undergraduate students.
- Willingness to work with the Nursing and Forensic Science programs.
- Willingness and ability to collaborate and work well with others.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching General Chemistry courses to undergraduate students.
- Experience teaching to non-majors (especially in health-related, biology, and similar majors).
- Experience teaching chemistry at the high school level or designing a secondary education STEM teacher training degree program.
- Experience teaching and/or working with students of diverse abilities, including first-generation students.
- Experience developing and utilizing innovative and engaged pedagogical methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students across the college.
